Common Production Processes of Crushing Mechanism Sand (II)With the depletion of natural sand resources in recent years, artificial sand has emerged in the market demand and its application has become increasingly widespread. Although artificial sand and gravel processing has a history of decades, how to choose the correct production process to ensure the reliable operation, advanced technology, and reasonable economy of the processing system is still an important problem faced by the design of artificial sand and gravel processing systems. This article introduces four commonly used sand making processes. 3. The combined sand production process of vertical axis impact crusher and rod mill In order to solve the problems of low medium diameter sand content and increased production in the sand production process of vertical axis impact crusher, a sand production process combining vertical axis impact crusher and rod mill was adopted. The process flow is as follows: After being crushed by a vertical impact crusher, the stone enters the screening machine for classification. All stones larger than 5mm are returned to the transfer bin, while stones with a diameter of 5-2.5mm enter the rod mill for crushing. After passing through a spiral classifier, they are mixed with stones smaller than 2.5mm and enter the finished product bin. This process has the following characteristics: 1) It combines the advantages of vertical axis impact crusher and rod grinding machine sand, overcomes the disadvantages of vertical axis impact crusher and rod grinding machine sand, and solves the problems of low content of medium size sand and excessive loss of stone powder; 2) Stable quality and good particle shape of finished sand; 3) High water and electricity consumption, high steel rod consumption; 4) A large amount of construction and installation work; 5) The process flow is complex and there are many types of equipment. 4. Joint sand production process of constant speed and high-speed vertical shaft impact crusher The sand production process of the vertical axis impact crusher with two speed combinations is shown in the following figure: The stone is sent from the transfer bin to the vertical axis impact crusher through the feeder and belt conveyor for crushing. After crushing, it enters the screening machine for classification, and then the stone larger than 5mm returns to the transfer bin. The stone with a size of 5-2.5mm is sent to the high-speed vertical axis impact crusher for further crushing. The crushed stone is mixed with the stone with a size smaller than 2.5mm before entering the finished product warehouse. This production process is suitable for dry and semi dry production, and further research is needed for wet production. |
